How do we know for sure that these 16 Afghan and 2 Iraq immigrants are not involved in terrorism?

We were probably lucky this time and they were apprehended in France. They may have their personal details logged but no doubt they are free to roam the French countryside until another opportunity presents itself for illegal entry. As thery are not the first to attempt entry how many others have escaped the net and living in some bolthole in the UK plotting terrorist activities?
