Today (Tuesday) Benitez is "guaranteeing" Liverpool a top 4 finish but I can't seem to find what he says will be the outcome if they don't finish that high.

So just an empty promise, or did he add anything which hasn't been generally reported?

It's just been reported today: http://news.bbc.co.uk...liverpool/8414652.stm

He's used up the "fresh start to the season" line prior to the loss to Arsenal so he's probably waiting to pull some Christmas crackers to get inspiration from the jokes.

Is that a 'fact'..............? ;o)
On the 50th Anniversary of the Great Man himself, Bill Shankly... Benitez is doing the Club a disservice by his negative tactics in all games. The Fans are starting to lose faith in him now as he does not know the meaning of the word 'Attack'.
Even the Players look confused as to what they are supposed to do on the pitch. If this is the best he can do after 5 years in charge then it's time to clear off and hand over to a Manager who realises that Liverpool FC stands for better things than what is being dished up at present.
