How easy is it to change ISP please.

I am with AOL, and it is driving me mad, it frequently takes me 30 minutes to log on, then it often disconnects each day. This happens on my laptop as well, so I dont think it can be the pc. Thanks for any help or advice for this frustrated user.

depends how long you have been with AOL, if it's more than 1year then call them request your mac code, then call the ISP you want to change to and give them the mac code and let them deal with everything else.

If you've not been with AOL for 1 year then you can not get out of the contract without paying for up until the end of the first year.

However. you may well find that changing ISP's won't help if it's a problem on the line as your line won't change, you'll just be paying somebody else for a service on a problematic line.
