I want to get a musical instrument (saxophone) valued. My ex-boyfriend bought it for me on my 'big' birthday few years back, when i had intentions to take up lessons how to play it. However i never did and am now thinking of selling it, as it just sits in it's box and never used. It still brand new and shame to just be sitting there. I know its not a cheap one but want to make sure i don't under-value it when selling on. Is there somewhere (Essex area) that I could have it valued and coudl anyone recommend where possibly I could sell it? Thank you

Crafty.. your answer was good ... but already had looked on ebay and the make is on there but not the model... there are loads of the 'make' with a vast array of values so not really giving me the correct info and most of them are used on there too. Mine is brand new and unused. I want to get an accurate a valuation as possible and thought that someone on here might have a better insite as to somewhere local in my area where i could take it to value and possibly find a local shop that might buy them?
Doc... thanks but no thanks.
