Absolutely stuck on t his one .... does anyone know?
At its founding in ancient times, this harbour town was part of a league whose democratic principles influenced the US constitution nearly 2,000 years later. Tourists today can listen to jazz in its ruined amphitheatre, or occasionally view ceramics exhbitions from an alternative arts collective in a very unexpected setting.

Would appreciate a push in the right direction, many thanks, C.

Antibes, I think. It has a harbour, a famous jazz festival, a museum of Picasso's ceramics and an amphitheatre. I'm ashamed to say I don't know the league whose democratic principles influenced the US constitution. I haven't tried to check the photos.
I think the answer is Kas, which is in Turkey.
