How do I know if I am running 32 or 64 bit windows?

it will be 32bit

right click on my computer and select properties. If its XP it'll say something like Microsoft Windows XP Professional edition x64 exition if it's 64 bit

lol it doesnt seem to say, it says

microsoft xp professional version 2002 service pack 3

if it doesn't say then it's 32bit

(I would have been very surprised if it had of been 64bit, hence why my first answer didn't say how to check)
