They keep separate accounts and a bank account for the business and it will be recorded as e.g ' John Smith trading as ' Tasteless Haircutters'. ' Of course, they are still . in law, an individual person and solely liable for everything done in their business and for all its debts, without any limit, or any sharing, of liability.
