Do you think men should shave body hair under the arms and/or on the legs? Why or why not?

HAHAHAHA.
Personally I wouldn't bother - I find shaving my face enough of a drag, so the idea of keeping up with other areas just adds work to my abloutions. I have no real feeling about body hair on men - apart from a mild revulsion to the 'gorilla' look - hairy back, shoulders etc., but since i don't suffer, again it's not a personal issue. I would imagine that most women would consider it vaguely vain if a man took the trouble to remove his underarm or leg hair, but I'm sure ladies who visit here will agree or not ....?
Body hair is a personal thing, if a man wants to defuzz completely that's his business but I would recommend waxing, it may be painful initially but it lasts longer.
Social pressures, where will it end? Bearded women? This, clipped from a feminist webpage;"Young women in Sweden, Germany and Australia have a new cause: They want men to sit down while urinating. This demand comes partly from concerns about hygiene -- avoiding the splash factor -- but, as Jasper Gerard reports in the English magazine The Spectator, "more crucially because a man standing up to urinate is deemed to be triumphing in his masculinity, and by extension, degrading women." One argument is that if women can't do it, then men shouldn't either. Another is that standing upright while relieving oneself is "a nasty macho gesture," suggestive of male violence."

Sorry after i recovered from a laughing fit i came up with this....Like all fashions it's up to each person to do as they see fit.....but a lot of female partners seem to prefer the clean shaven look although it is a lot harder for men to wax or sugar body hair as it is a different type of hair to female body hair and is thicker and more resisitant to removal (and more painful as well) so it's much more of a difficult operation for men.....though like TW i was out in my Kilt over the Bells and the women who were checking to make sure i was wearing it properly didn't seem to bothered!!!
forget the armpits & legs, just take care of the nose and ear hair... Obviously all men should wax, may I recommend the bikini line to start with - make sure you have plenty of tissues to cope with your tears of pain and your partner's hysterical laughter
Nope, men with shaven legs and armpits is quite alarming to me.
Definately the nose and ears should be shaved/ trimmed waxed etc as woodpam says but also taming the eyebrows a little so you aren't like a member of Oasis makes any man more attractive.Hairy noses, backs and ears are a big yuk!
So if everyone is agreed then that a guy with a hairy back is a turn off then how does a solo guy get rid of it!! Eh? answer that one then.....a razor with really long handles?
