I have just re-read the autobiography of my favourite author.

Slide Rule, by Nevil Shute.

It has reminded me how much I enjoy a good autobiogaraphy.

Could you suggest any more that I might enjoy?

I exclude anyone who has to get a ghost writer to do it for them

This is not a joke but Me Cheeta (the 'autobiography' of the chimp in the Tarzan films) is quite brilliant. Very funny, sharp, intelligently written - and pretty frank about a lot of the Hollywood icons.
