I had a Spinal Block (due to C-Section) 5 weeks ago and have started experiencing an "ache" where it was inserted. Anyone else experienced this?

Completely agree with dot- I've had 3 csections and get an ache from where the first spinal block( and possibly the subsequent ones) was inserted. I think it's quite weird as I can't describe it as painful just an 'ache' in that one particular spot.

if you mean an epidural, I had one in August 1981 during the birth of my eldest son and still get an aching pain in that exact spot at the base of my spine where the needle went in. He's 28 now and a bigger pain though!

A Spinal block is similar to an epidural so yes kinda same thing! Glad it's not just me, you're right it's not really painful just an "ache" but I was little worried as it's only just started. Tends to hurt when I do housework . . . only one thing to do . . . sign myself off from cleaning duties :-D

Thanks X
