I am female, aged 65 and living with my retired husband. I get £368 monthly state pension, £370 work pension and earn around £100 per month with a part time job. Should I be paying tax?

Yes you should - your income exceeds the personal allowance (£9470 from memory for someone of your age) though not by much

You may need to contact your tax office to get the higher allowance if you have just turned 65 - it sometimes happens automatically but is not guaranteed. If you are still on the statndard tax code you will be paying too much.

I'm sorry to say, docspock, you will have to wait until the 2010/2011 tax year for the increased allowance to kick in. The allowance increases during the financial year you reach you 65th birthday.
What a surprise Dodger666 when I spotted your username just now as Ive used 'Dodger666' as my password for practically everything on-line for many years! (between you and I of course!) (time to change it maybe, I just couldn't resist mentioning it!)
