Man Utd v Arsenal 17/1/48 - 81,962

Played at Maine Road

Found this,

Highest attendance,

83,260 Manchester United v. Arsenal (at Maine Road, First Division, 17 January 1948)
Bradford Park Avenue. It was pre-WWII and I think the attendance was above 130,000.
