I am writing my final year Architecture disertation and have chosen to begin with the title "How has computer aided design influenced the form of contemporary architecture?" Does anybody know of any books that may help me with this, both in terms of the wide subject and specific examples? Thank you for your help.

if you google frank gehry cad there are lots of resources available that explain how frank found cad and how it 'revolutionised' his, and the worlds architecture. there is also this book, which has info on its influence.

for me it is about the integration of systems and the layering by other professionals (engineers etc), and finally the 3d rendering which can give a client a fly through animation of the faciltity they are going to get. rather than the static 2d balsa wood models (which are still used of course).
