I really really really want to... but I really mustn't. Should I?

My son has dejected me twice in the past as a FB friend because of embarrassing (so he thinks) comments on his public 'wall'. The last rejection was 3 months ago because I called him Daniel Spaniel - and his mates took the p1ss & now call him that. I also once put that his Mummy loved him & was so proud of her little soldier (he'd passed an exam). He swore he would never let me on there again.
Well, I've wimped, wailed & pleaded - and find this morning he has accepted me.
I am proud.

However - having a nose (as you do), I find that his latest wall comment was "Time for a clear-out". Oh how I am having to resist holding back my digits & responding to this. I was on the verge of putting "You always did have trouble with constipation as a child - try Senna, that always worked before" or something along those lines... Just a joke, you know how it is. However, if I get dejected again it really will be a lifetime ban.
But it's Soooooooooooo tempting.
Should I? Should I not? Is it really so embarrassing your mother discussing your bowels on facebook?

after witnessing a pretty nasty facebook breakup argument yesterday i can really see why you would not want to be friends with a bf on there.
although it was very funny in place smy fave bit had to be when the jilted partner (boy) accused the girl of being unintelligent (not the word he used - i think it was fick) and she retaliated by telling him, that he couldn't "right" properly
Cripes ... !

Do people really wash their dirty laundry so publicly ?

=0o
lol Fluff....Gingers cousin puts his life on FB. I phoned him yesterday and told him he was a Snag and that everyone else thought so too....in a nice way of course. He's set a date for his wedding four weeks after meeting the girl...!!

Ummm.... wasn't it you who put that awful photo of that straggly haired ginger minger singer as your boyfriend's profile pic?????????!!!!!!!!!!!
these pair did, allegedly she went of with a polish guy after some kind of drinking session, and it was his fault becasue he was to drunk (what for wasn't specified) then the girlfriend who stuck up for the girl, then got accused of cheating on her boyfriend which started off another arguement!
Yeah...he's still got it lol...Luke Kelly. I also update his status....his last one was 'Oh sh!t, I've wet the bed'
Gosh, how exciting.

That would have been very jolly to watch.

It sounds like the common girl from Little Britain on one of her "you said, I said, she did this, I did that" tirades.

"Oh sh1t, I've wet the bed....."

Class ummm... real class! Has he noticed it yet?!
it was a bit like that JJ but having said all of that, that was just my interpretation of the text speak they were using, so i could of got it completely wrong and they might of been arranging an nice day out somewhere.
Yeah...as soon as someone replied. My cousin replied saying 'What AGAIN? That's the 5th time this week' lol

I also do updates like 'KM is the best girlfriend in the world so I'm going to buy her what ever she wants'
LOL Fluffy

Public bust up / arranging a nice day out.

I can see how they would be easily confused.

Boy am I glad you are NOT my Mother!
We have 4 Kds,6,Grandkids,4 Gt Grandkids, and one Gt Gt Grandkid.
I would never dream of putting such comments on any of their facebooks!
I can still (at 86) remember how my Mother could embarass me(when I was an adult) and I am cringeing now at the thought.
If this is a serious question, please don't even consider embarassing him again.
YOU might think it's funny,I can assure you that he DOESN'T!
Have you nothing better to do?
Question Author
Oh Mr Veritas - lighten up.
First of all, I was only semi-serious.
Secondly, despite his protestations, my boy understands & appreciates my humour. IF I had put the above, which I haven't, chances are he'd have told me off, tongue in cheek, and carried on the joke himself.

Have I nothing better to do? What - than to have a joke and laugh with my children?
Apologies if you don't understand my humour :-(

And by theway - he IS glad I'm his mother x
