Cameron hijacks Armistice Day?

Seems the Tory leader yesterday took his personal photographer to the Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey for a carefully-choreographed shoot. Mr Cameron adopted a look of studied contemplation as he bent, crouched and posed for the camera, half an hour before the other dignitaries arrived.

Yesterday, the Conservative Party released a series of carefully-chosen pictures taken by their cameraman. They showed Mr Cameron standing and crouching in contemplative silence, the image of a dignified prime minister in waiting.

Is there anything wrong with this?

If he had been laughing and joking apart from the posed shots, then there may have been an issue (and this almost definitely did not happen otherwise those pictures would be out by now).

Maybe the fault is with us, that we think that politicians are not human. My wife and I always go tot he Remembrance day parades and will have similar looks to David Cameron. It is a time for reflection as well as remembrance. Maybe he is actually a human being?

(I suspect that the photographer goes everywhere with him)

tony.......No!.....really?
Using the situation to try and score Political points.
The next General Election is possibly 6 months away but Cameron is already counting his chickens.....maybe it's time for a change but not a Tory one.
If the Tories have their way there will be no Winter Fuel Allowances for older Citizens......No Free Bus Travel for the over 60's.....the list goes on. Conservatives a caring party for the poorest people in our Society ?
It has never been the case.
Voters of this country be warned !!!!!!!!

Yes, but do you tag a photographer along with you to capture your similar look to Cameron's?
Stop whinning Noo Labour luvvies, your time is over. A politician staging an event? heaven forfend! Bet Noo labour never thought of that........hang on...
'Politician poses for photographs' - it's not exactly the most scandalous story really is it? If he was stark naked or dressed as a clown that might be vaguely interesting.
//Yes, but do you tag a photographer along with you to capture your similar look to Cameron's? //

No, but then I am not a politician and am not in the public eye.
'...he adopted a look of studied contemplation'. Are you suggesting that if the camera hadn't been there he would have been grinning liike a ***, mooning, performing the birdy dance or other such irreverant tomfoolery. It seems unlikely.
hmm ..the phrase I used was grinning like a J A C K A 5 5, which doesn't seem that bad. The censored version looks ruder.
It's a cynical move by him, but I expect such things from all politicians.
Cameron's a man of no substance or character, he's just a P.R man, every time I see him I expect him to try and sell me a second hand car he's that kind of person.
A slime ball.
123...an Eton scholar selling second hand cars......come, come Everton.
Dear old Daily Mail ( the Mirror was worse). Now tell us that the Labour Party doesn't have a retained photographer for use on such photo shoots, so the time can be settled and the subject photographed,to their convenience, rather than rely on one of the press agency photographers. ( If they don't, it's very remiss of them and not like them at all. They're normally very good at such matters).

Is there any suggestion that Cameron is not sincere in his respect, any more than Brown is ?
By the way everton, you're quite right. I fear that Cameron is Blair but wearing a blue rosette, good on image, light on everything else.
