Boot Device Displayed On Boot Up.

Hi All.
I am running Windows Xp Pro. On boot up, the boot device is displayed.
Hard Disk C.
Cd Rom Drive.
Diskette A.
Pxe Lan.
Iv'e got to select hard disc c before pc boots up.
How do i remove this display please. Thanks.
