well quadraphenia is quite long

Dragonslayer's the same. Koyaanisqatsi is longer but I suppose you'd better limit this to English-language titles, otherwise people will be coming up with obscure features from Mongolia.
serendipidy
oh, and Trainspotting.
Has everybody forgotten Vozvrashcheniye?
thing is Xollob 'shch' is a single letter in Russian - I can't reproduce it on my anglocentric keyboard, but it's the same letter as in the middle of 'Khrushchev'. So I'm not sure if that counts.
arachnophobia is quite a long one also
By the same token, jno, one could argue that the 'ph' in Arachnophobia is one letter in Greek. I think we should let MOLLYMOO12 decide what counts - so three stars for me, please!
separate categories for Russian, ancient Greek, Koyaanisqatsian and English, okay MOLLYMOO?
Was there ever a film version of Rumpelstiltskin?
Yes, there is, and it's longer than all the others here apart from my Vozvrashcheniye. See Rumpelstiltskin. But it probably sounds a bit too foreign for jno!

I think that for the purpose of it not getting too complicated we can't really count films which have been translated from another language. In which case for the purpose of this it would have to be films with english titles..anyone think that is unfair?
If youre talking about the 1973 Harry Kumel film starring Rutger Hauer (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070601/), then Rumplestiltskin is not actually the name of the film; it was a Dutch film called Repelsteeltje and Rumplestiltskin was just the English language title for it, so technically, I guess were still on 13 letters.

Theres Tim Burtons Frankenweenie, Unforgettable, Pleasantville and about two or three years ago, there was a film called Clockstoppers, all at 13 letters, but I cant think of anything more than that.

My friend Leo wanted to chip in here and say that technically Crazy/Beautiful should count as it has no spaces in it, but then, this is a man who eats chalk ;)
Phantasmogoria made in 1995 must be a contender with 14 letters.
Hadn't realised we were counting video games as films; although, these days, it's getting harder to tell the difference, I have to admit.

Rumpelstiltskin - an American horror film from 1996. Not a particularly good film, by all accounts, but the title does have 15 letters.

Incidentally, the French for Rumpelstiltskin is Grigrigredinmenufretin, a whopping 22 letters. But
a) there isn't a film with this title, and
b) even if there were, it wouldn't be allowed in this contest.
