has anyone else had this? Sat watching telly of an evening and i feel little 'pops' 9 for want of a better word) in the top of my stomach.
It reminds me of how it felt when a baby starts kicking when it's still very small. I've never had it before, but have had it every night over past couple of weeks.
what could it be? Just wind?

have you ever seen 'Alien'?
I was thinking 'wind' before I got to the end of your question crisgal. I've had the same popping feelings & yes it was certainly wind. I also sometimes suffer with IBS, so take Buscopan for it - that soon clears it.

Unless you are pregnant of course! ;o}

smudge that's really interesting. I sometimes get the most horrendous stomach pain, very low down. It can be excrutiating! I have to run to the loo! I am trying to keep a food diary as I thought I may be intolerant to something.
Does that sould like IBS?
can you get that medication over the counter?
crisgal - this link is really helpful for symptoms, etc.

I was diagnosed with IBS some years ago, although thankfully, it's not half as bad as it used to be. When I do get the odd 'flare up', I take one Buscopan three times a day & it usually soon subsides.

You can buy Buscopan over the counter these days, but best to ask yor GP, or pharmacist for advice.

Good luck & hope you feel better soon. -x-

i think it's probably that.

or an alien!

cheers
I get this all the time but with no pain or IBS

do you ummmm? Don't you think it feels really weird?
Yes, very strange and just like a baby kicking.
As another IBS sufferer I would agree with Smudge. However, have a word with your GP if you think you have IBS just to make sure because there are other things it could be. I have suffered since I was 9 when they misdiagnosed and took my appendix out unnecessarily!!
