Noisy upvc windows

Had the whole house fitted with UPVC windows a few months ago and have been plagued with wind howling around the windows.
The noise is like blowing across the top of an empty bttle only a lot higher pitched and increases in volumne with wind speed. There is no draught through the opening window seals and I temporarily blocked the air vents with blu tack in case the wind was howling up the drain channels but it did not make any difference.
Any ideas on how to get rid of the noise ?

It would appear to me that you need to check the sealing of the Window Frames themselves i.e Between Frame and Brickwork outside, as the wind is obviously catching a very slight gap somewhere thus causing the sound in question.
sounds like a bit of a high Chaperal job to me. There should be no gaps! Get the fitters back, sund like a right shower!
Perhaps the fitters have been on `Watchdog` Get them back to fix it, it only needs adjusting.
Meanwhile, pack some folded kitchen paper in the gaps with a palette knife or similar tool.

Found out that the noise is coming from between the glass seals and the frames - here\'s the catch - but only when an upstairs bedroom window and door are open :o)
