Has anyone who owns an St170 had any problems with what sounds like a rubbing noise front the front wheel area when pulling away sometimes. It seems to happen more if its hotter for some reason. No one at Fords can hear it because it doesnt happen all the time so can be a pain to find. the car is just over 1 year old and has not long had the 1st service.

Sounds like your brake calipers are sticking on.

If this is the case they can probably strip them down and lubrcate them in the correct places or replace them.

Then again it may just be the ABS system calibrating itself when you pull away, I had a honda that did that sometimes.
