Today is digital switch over. I have a freeview tv and in the area I live we have not been able to get any freeview channels as we have no signal. I retuned my tv this morning and now I have lost my BBC2 as well have I done something wrong ? I know I will not get any programmes untill the next retune in a months time but should I have lost BBC2 as well.

Are you saying that BEFORE switchover you received only the 4/5 terrestrial channels from your TV\'s analogue tuner? If so you MAY need to change your aerial - it depends where you live and which transmitter you want to tune to. If you look here and type in your postcode you should get the info you need.

PS don\'t forget your TV must have a digital/freeview tuner after switchover, otherwise you won\'t get anything.
Just been doing some research. BBC2 analogue is switched OFF right at the beginning of the switchover. It is then only available in digital/freeview. After 4 weeks the other analogue channels will be switched off. So you should still be able to get the other analogue channels for those 4 weeks. From the moment of switchover you can only get BBC2 on digital/freeview.
Best thing to do is what I posted previously:
- find out what kind of an aerial you need for freeview for the transmitter nearest to you
- get one and tune all the channels and then retune after the 4 week period.
