Can anyone remember a comedy from the 80s on itv with a mum and dad living in part of the house and their two grown up daughters living in the other part . the father was played by robert gillespie and he was an artist who always wore a hand puppet to draw, Can anyone help as its bugging the hell out of me thanks.

His wife was played by Pauline Yates and his daughters were Stacy Dorning and Sabrina Frankilin, I think, alli mac
Littleoldme's Useless Fact of the Day (number 2147 in a continuing series) - there was also a US version, called Too Close For Comfort, made about the same time (not sure which came first). It was shown briefly over here, but flopped.
