I dont use majirel, but im finding my mothers strong white hair really difficult to cover, ive taken it darker, but the fade is horrendous and she only likes it for about 3 weeks in 6 ( when its faded a bit ) i want to try and use the new majirel colours, maybe the old gold 8 line colour, but it advises only to use on white hair, wheras my mum is completely white around the face to the crown she is salt and pepper base 6/white from the crown to the nape. im sure it would be ok to use, just checking really as it doesnt recommend being used on hair thats not white -

Apply Majirel 7 (copper blonde) + 30v for base all-over color. Weave a few foil hilites (light blonde diacolor + releaser) around front. 2 colors will add more interest and bring out eye color.

less is more - dont overdo the hilites, 10 is plenty.

Tambourine: thanks for your suggestion but can you tell me if majirel supreme is still suitable for my mums hair considering :

'it advises only to use on white hair, whereas my mum is completely white around the face to the crown she is salt and pepper base 6/white from the crown to the nape'

Just need to check, as it doesnt recommend being used on hair thats not white!
Grey hair has a loss of melanin which needs replacing. My original recommendation works for caucasion (european) hair. Try a strand test. A pre-litener can also be tried.
