I'm trying to look up information on a fire which took place at the Sunblest Flour Mill in London (think Poplar) in 1963-64. My uncle was in the place when the fire happened and died as a result, I'm writing a family history book and wanted to include some general information about it, but unfortunately I cannot find anything on it on any search engine thru the web. Does anyone know where I can find any information on this... Any information or advice where to look will be appreciated. thank you.

I would have a look at the East Of London Family History Society archive, I was a member about 15 years ago and they have a huge amount of knowledge amongst their members. My kids great grandma was born in Poplar btw. I know there were still family living there in the 1960s but all their children have moved from the area now.

There was a fire at the Sun Flour Mills, St Leonards Street, Poplar on 7th August 1965,which was reported in The Times on August 16th, 1965 (you can find it by searching their archives) but I cannot see the details as I don't subscribe to The Times.
