Phone call from the RSPCA raising money

Feel really mean.... but the RSPCA called me at home last night as I donate each month to them £5 by DD. They were asking for people to raise the amount to £10 each month.. and they are struggling as abandoned pets have shot up by 60% in recent months due to recession.

I feel really mean now as I really cant afford to increase the money I give them.. I know its not much... but every penny really counts right now... but I keep thinking about all the poor abandoned animals!!!

I did promise to give them more money when things are better financially...

Do any of you lot donate to them???

Tugs at the old heart strings eh.. Little Harvey Pickle Pants doesnt realise how lucky he is to have a mummy who spoils him like I do!

What gets me about the RSPCA is they can spend 6 million on new head quarters! I ask you ,why on earth spend that amount of money on offices, when you try and ring them for help you have no chance.
