changing bulb in oven

I have a Neff oven and cannot change the interior bulb as per the manual. You are meant to be able to remove the cover but mine won't come off. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't want to pay �60 call out fee for engineer to do it! Thankyou

If its what I think it looks like, its a round glass cover and it unscrews. Trouble is baked on cooking residue gets in the thread, making it hard to shift. Try squirting oven cleaner around the thread and leave a bit before trying again?

We have a Neff oven (not sure how old) that was here when we moved in. Unlike previous oven whereby like bm says they unscrew, this one is oblong and you have to prise it off with a bit of brute force to get to the bulb. If no luck, could you not ring them just to ask for help?

Bulb change Neff oven. Had the same trouble. Went onto www.neff-eshop.com found a tool part no.613655 includes a new bulb. Cost £11.59 inc. vat, packing and postage. Go and have a look it shows a photo of the parts, it might be what you are looking for. John Kent
