Has anyone ever been to a planning meeting

which is by the local district council and raised issues and
spoken in public against the proposal ?

When we lived in London a few years ago, they were proposing to build a new developement of houses and flats across the road, where we had a lovely grassed area and rookery.

We went to the meeting and opposed the planning of it, and i must admit, i hardly had to get up at all, as there were a couple of local neighbours who were very vocal and did'nt mind making their point,so i just sat back and enjoyed the ride........................
We won and the plans were dropped, but we did involve our local M.P who was a lovely lady, who nearly always helped out on matters raised to her.

This development has not been passed but there are machines taking out
the vegetation and an Eco person looking for wild life as they do it !! Some one
is having a laugh ..as the soil people are now taking samples . So I will go say
my 3 mins bit at the meeting ...as what goes round comes round !!
