Last year my geraniums were ravaged by caterpillars and blackfly. There wasn't a single undamaged leaf to use for cuttings so I had to buy new this yea and this year they are completely clear.

The reason?  I planted a pot of nasturtiums in the garden. The caterpillars and blackfly have concentrated on these, leaving my geraniums healthy and pest free.

The pot of nasturtiums looks a bit unsightly, but if it's keeping the pests off the other stuff in the garden it's worth it!

Thanks Ursula I will give it a whirl next year anything is worth trying.hopefully these Spanish moths won't like nasturtiums either.

Sorry Ursula I meant to say hopefully the Spanish moths will like the nasturtiums
