Toshiba Satellite 1110 dispaly problems

The display on my toshiba satellite laptop has suddenly started jumping & flickering really badly. I have reinstalled the display drivers but it has made no difference, Can anyone please help?

This answer is by no means definite, but my mother had a similar problem with her laptop.
She tried to get it fixed ad was told it was the connection between the computer board and the lcd display. The screen needed to be replaced.
Depending on the spec of the laptop, sometimes the screen replacement price is not worth the cost. Sometime better to get new laptop.
