Probably. I've been having vivid dreams...not quite nightmares but ones that involve fears I have. I've had a very stressful few months.

The stress has gone (mostly) and so have the dreams...so far.

But I did dream that potatos were growing in my hair last night...
Dreams are the mind's way of sorting out the information it has received during the day - and as we all know, it does not always do that in an orderly and connected manner!

If you are under stress, this will cause a temporary rise in cerebral input, and rthe result will be extended and more vivid dreams.

It's nothing to worry about, it's perfectly normal and very common, and when your stress period has passed, your dreams will return to normal again.
