anyone out there got a narrowboat?if so,have you been to yorkshire on it?is there anything you can tell me about your holiday there?places to see etc,

Have been narrowboating since 1988 but have never been to Yorkshire. Try posting a question on http://www.ownerships.co.uk/indices/enternews.htm and you should get lots of sensible advice.

'Did' the Leeds - Liverpool canal (Wigan to somewhere) about 20 years ago, had a great time. Seem to remember a lot of pubs but also a lot of beautiful scenery. Spent a couple of days in Skipton (castle and market) and also just outside Keighley where we got the steam train into Haworth.
