Hi, I was travelling home today on my way home from work on a 50mph road and went throught one of them Police vans with a camera in it at about 53mph, will I have been caught? Reason i am asking is tht I heard theres a bit of lee-way with speed of going through them.

You're probably OK. A copper once told me that they allow 10percent +2 mph, so in a 50 limit that would be 57 mph.
No guarantees though.
you'll also find that the speedo reading is a bit lower than what it says on the speedometer so you might be ok at 53
I've found that on a few speedomters when i've checked the speed on my tom tom
Can sat navs be relied on for an accurate check of road speed ?
