Can anybody help to identify this town please? Small market town was once tenth-biggest in England, & one of the richest, thanks to wool trade. It has a minster & is also home to the oldest state school in Britain. There have been horse races on its "westward pasture" for more than 300 years. Thought it would be easy to Google these clues as they're not as vague as the ones they've given for the past few weeks, but just can't seem to find anywhere that fits.

Thanks very much, that's great. Wondered about Worcester, but wasn't sure whether it would be described as a "small market town".
They don't have white telephone boxes in Worcester....
I thought it might be Kingston upon Hull as they have the white telephone boxes and Beverley racecourse is near by
