Does anyone know where this excellent series was filmed. A lot of it seemed to be in Derbyshire, judging by the scenery and stone, but we suspect it was filmed in many different locations, including in West Yorkshire. Would love to know .... C

So now we had the locations: Oakwell Hall and East Riddlesden Hall would be used as Wuthering Heights; and Stockheld Park and Bramham Park would be Thrushcross Grange. The beautiful and isolated village of Halton Gill in the Dales would be Gimmerton.

Many thanks for the information. It really was a great adaptation - never usually say that about ITVs handling of classic novels!
