Rice Syrup/Agave Nectar

I've got a flapjack recipe that uses Rice Syrup as the sweetener. But I've got some Agave Nectar leftover from another recipe. Could I use this instead and would I use the same amount?

I often just put whatever i have to hand in flapjacks - honey/sugar/syrup etc - it's the flavour that matters, so as long as it's sweet, it doesn't make a difference to the actual recipe what your use. I love experimenting with different things - you never know, it might be a family favourite!
