how to varnish mdf.

Could someone please advise me how to varnish an unfinished radiator cover which i have bought?

varnished mdf is not going to look very groovy dippy lol
you'll have to 'seal' the MDF first or it will just soak in to the fibreboard. Use PVA glue, watered down and leave to dry. wont varnishing it jus leave that horrible colour tho?
You can put varnish straight onto MDF. I think the finish is better using pads rather than brushes but its personal taste.
snap Builder, not a nice look is it
You could try a bit of wood stain and see how it looks.....clear varnish after maybe.
anything water based will seep right in if you dont 'seal' it tho
