What's the best way to see the Grand Canyon

I'm going to Vegas in september with 3 other adults and was hoping to see the canyon while we were there.
Can anyone recommend the best way to do it and with what company and is it best to book it before we leave from the uk or do it when we are there (and where's the best place, hotel concierge or street booth or anywhere else??)

I agree with all the people in Zac's links that say go on a helicopter trip.
We (at 80 & 81) did and it's the only way to really see just how big and deep the Grand Canyon is!
