Shane was a film in the 1950s. It was a classic western and starred Alan Ladd. Is this the film you're referring to or am I missing the plot - maybe I'm just getting old!

Berlimey,I haven't seen a western for a very long time...
I can't remember what western film I saw last.....might have been one starring Clint Eastwood perhaps!!
Oh yeah,Unforgiven is a good 'un.
