Why, oh why oh why would Billy and Alfie attempt to use the dirty gents public toilets when they both live one minute away?

Do the writers of EastEnders not realise that it's these tiny flaws in the writing that add up to the major flaws? (And I'll not even go there!!) Seriously tho, I find myself shouting at the screen in frustration at these silly things! Tell me I'm not alone!!

I know Dumblonde!  If I ever do waste half and hour out of my life to watch it these days I feel as if the scriptwriters have the viewers as a bunch of flipping idiots.  How they think we will be taken in by some of the lame story lines I have absolutely no idea.  There are some superb actors on the show who must feel equally frustrated.  How hard can it be?  A five year old could do better.

I saw an episode a week or two ago where the old lady was singing some old song in the pub and everyone was fawning over her, smiling sweetly like she was something amazing.  I was almost sick.  By the way I don't think and never thought Wendy Richards can act for toffee.

seems to me like they are dredging up similar storylines in similar ways but with different combinations of actors. it is also very predictable as well.

I think the best shocking storyline of the last year is the Paul Trueman exit

Eastenders is the most pathetic script in television history, virtually no one in it has ever said a civil word to another person.

If this is what eastenders are really like thank god I dont live there. (Although I'm sure they are not like that)

What always gets me is how everyone uses the launderette ..... yeah, know they still exist, but the likelihood of everyone in a single street going there is laughable.

what bugs me is a lot of them are supposed to be very hard up, yet they are always in the cafe buying food and drink! I can't afford to do it!!

I laughed when Sam was looking for work and had to ask Ian for a job saying that she'd "tried everywhere".

Yeah, every business in the square run by someone she knows!

They all work for each other, don't they, no-one works in Dixon's or McDonalds, or whatever.
