Who was the first member of the British Royal Family to travel by train...when visiting friends in the Midlands in 1840?

This website says it was Queen Adelaide - but Slough isn't in the Midlands. (Not sure if the link will work; if not try putting a * after it.)

Thanks for his jno.  I was getting googleitis!  I knew it wasn't Victoria but didn't hit on Adelaide.  I think this is right as I have now also found a reference to her boarding a train in Lancaster in 1840 so she obviously got about a bit.
