in 1995 while drunk, sneaked into the DJ booth at a local pub/club before the Dj arrived and played "New year's Day" very loudly.Got ejected by bouncers. Not that funny, now I think about it.

Jamesy boy ya legend. I love it!
I submitted the lyrics to One Tree Hill as a poem to be graded by my high school english teacher.  Just to see how we would rate it technically.  Got full marks!!.  Not funny but just goes to show how brilliant U2 are.  lol Jamesy boy should definetly go down in the history books, what a legend.
Sadly i've never done anything crazy or that fun with regards to U2, but i do find myself ridiculed for thinking they're so amazing ?!? some people just have no concept of what good music is...

I don't see what you did was so wrong Jamesy Boy .... New Year's Day should be played very loudly ...... come to think of it, so should all their songs.

Have never done anything crazy or funny with regard to U2, though maybe at times friends and family have thought I was crazy for being obsessed.

Bought the U2 edition iPod, even though it was about 50 more expensive than the normal one, and, spent a further 30 on a special case so I could still see their "signatures" on the back.

The funniest thing I can think of right now with regards to U2 is seeing my 20 month old daughter spinning round and round until she falls over to "I Will Follow" and joining in every time with the "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah" and "ooohhh-ooh-ooh" in Vertigo and Elevation respectively. Mind you, poor mite prcatically never hears anything but U2 in the car.

Went to see them at roundhay park, leeds. Early 90`s,i think. Got very drunk in a local boozer beforehand and had to be forced into actually walking the half mile or so to see them. I was quite happy to sit and listen to them on the pub jukebox! after the concert we returned to the same pub where i drifted into unconciousness in the toilets and allegedly soiled myself.
