does anyone know what number you put in front of a mobile number when u r dialling an australian mobile. the number starts 042 but I think it must have a country code before it.

please can anyone help...thank you

My cousins number starts 006 then 142 then 7 other digits.

yep, 0061 and knock the first number off the mobile number, so you would start

006142************
