I have a King George IV brass coin which was presented to (DMP) Dublin Metropolitan Police & (RIC) Royal Irish Constabulary to commemerate the visit of King George IV to Ireland in 1822. Found the value of a silver one but not of the brass one. I have found photos of it and a little info. Hope someone can help.

Spink [spink.com] and also Baldwin's [baldwin.co.uk] in London can advise, being specialists in coins and medals, but a less obvious point of enquiry is Whyte's in Dublin [whytes.ie].They have specialist Irish sales, dealing with Irish history,Irish art, and Irish memorabilia etc and might very well get a better price and give a higher estimate for you than any other dealer or auctioneer, because of their specialist local and foreign 'Irish', market and clientele.
