Signing out of AB

One or two people mentioned last night that one or two other people had signed out of AB when they left the building but then on their return they could not sign back in again. The message we all seem to be getting on our screens in 'my profile' has changed and refers to not using anything for our user names but letters and numbers. I think that anyone who has previously registered a name using anything like a _ , _ ~ * etc, may now have problems signing back in, this could be just my assumption, but it is a bit unusual for this to happen so coincidentally
I don't sign out when I leave AB and so this hasn't happened to me, but it may be why others cannot get back in.

If the ed is about maybe she could clarify? (If her hangover is not too dabilititating, the upper echelons of society are noted for their inebriate ways)

wow, what would make this software fall apart?? surely it would just be ageing in terms of it not moving forward, not physically falling apart though..?
