hi,

i have an assessment centre for a management job tomorrow ansd have been told they will ask about training and coaching, whats the difference?

also does anyone use the ABC method for giving feedbackto people?

conceptually, training is telling people how to do something and coaching is drawing out of a person something they already know.
So coaching is perhaps more suited to more experienced/senior staff, and more about them as individuals and how they respond in certain situations.
