Your Managing Director stays off work because "I coulnd't be bothered" but sum1 in here has a illness for 3 wks, is covered by a doctors note yet gets a written warning!! Without going through the correct procedures before giving the written. What a JOKE!!! P!sses me off.

Hi Red, she came back in after 3 wks, then got the warning straight away, shes a bit gutted she didnt take it further as she told her she wasnt accepting the warning & would look in2 it, she looked at her contract & low & behold, they had totall bypassed the two procedures that shud have been issued if they had a problem!! She never went back to her about it.

In my work I run round making cups of coffee for the MD while doing my own job too (which requires deadlines to be met) while he sits back reading newspapers!

Leggy, She is not lazy, idle or cannot be bothered, she is the type of person who takes stuff on the chin & feels it is too late to do anything about, I care about people that is why I am bothered.

Yep peebee. It seems a lot of managers get away with doing what they want. There is no point complaining in here, it is a male orientated place where they gang up on you. I was hardly allowed 2 weeks off when I had my appendix out without phone calls etc to see when I would be back. Some people are genuinely ill
