Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

2) gives an anagram to "Robert Clive" so the building answer relates to some place he lived. According to my reckoning the two letter word is of of 11 letters starting between PAN and ZZZ or 12 letters between AAA and ELY.

The overcoat answer could be BALMORAL

thanks for that Minoru - i've not seen the rest of the quiz but my contact says he's working on an answer involving the film "holiday inn" which featured either columbia hotel or columbia inn

does any of that sound right to you?

Thanks duncan dee. I had discovered columbia inn or hotel but it doesn't fit the paramaters, It should be a two word answer containing 12 letters, first word starting between ELY and PON

Hi Minoru,

we're still working on the white christmas connection - i did think it might be Waverly Hotel but that doesn't fit alphabetically - on the other hand, our answers for 2) and 3) starting CON and COL don't fit either !
