Magazines like FHM and Loaded

Which, out of all the 'boys' mags like FHM and Loaded is best and why, 'cause I wanna read one that is not too stuffed with pictures and afverts and has a lot of articles and stuff like that. Ta.

I am a regular reader of 'FHM' and having tried the others occasionally, I return to it as being the best in terms of its diversity of subject, and the strength of its writing. By its nature, it does deal with 'lads' culture, which can be a little wearing sometimes, but interesting material is always to be found, and the product tests are interesting. The jokes page is econd-to-none, so overall it gets my vote.

Having read both, I'd say that "Loaded" revels in its Laddishness, while "FHM" magazine (at least pretends that it) is ashamed of it. I don't buy either, but would buy FHM if I did. (And they're both full of adverts - it's how they keep the price down).
