It depends on what programs you are trying to uninstall. You sometimes have to download a tool from the program maker's website to uninstall their programs,Norton is an example of this.
There is a Freebie programme called "Revo uninstaller" that is supposed to get rid of all the bits that Windows uninstaller leaves behind.
Make a new folder and insert the program into it, delete into trash then clear from trash.......all gone!
I notice no-one has asked the insignificant question ... which programs

so - which programs?

you want to avoid "just deleting" unless there is no other way - some progs (or utilities) latch into windows resources - so when they go missing - it can become unstable
(why do you need to move it round so much tam?? - does it have to be dizzy to work ???)
wot's dizzy Ace? Some game programs just dont delete unless done this way.

But you know better?
the point tam is that SOME games ...
a) in this case we don't know which prog or games are involved

or if it's XP or vista -

in vista - you just do it as admin and confirm uac - no three card shuffle

but more important - you can't just say delete it untill you know what IT is

ok on your own machine - delete what you want ... but not someone else's
