don't know if it was the right thing to do?

Asked if this offer still stood - boss said well not really (obviously)

cus obviously they will have more money if I leave but then it would inconvenience them in me not being here (haha I know it appears I'm online all the time but I do do some things)

she's thinking about it.

hmmm I do't know why am I so indecisive

p.s that was a bit scary - she must think I'm schizo - she goes I don't know what goes on in you're mind love - join the club!
If they are advertising for your replacement then they need to be able to offer the new person a start date as they will also have to give their employer the relevant notice period
she has probably got a replacement already.
Question Author
No she hasn't they were going to try and manage without me as money is tight
-- answer removed --
that's what they want you to believe.

I think I know my employer a lot better than you do kjc, she's not like most employers - she's not a bad old stick
they are not going to invest anymore time effort and money in someone who is already leaving, i would imagine they will decline your request
Question Author
well I don't blame them if they do dot.

I left it entirely up to her as I don't want to mess them around too much. Its left to fate now seeing how I can't decide what I want. She can instead.

Either way I'll make the most of it :-) x

my lifeforce is fadingggggggggggggggggg

come again??

actually don't bother lol

now I'm thinking I won't really have time for interviews if I stay - asking for my holiday allowance back might be pushing it
you would get any untaken holiday paid in your final salary based on your entitlement up to your last day. You won;t lose it. You won't have earned a full year's entitlement
well you will know what she really thinks of you if she is used as a referee for a future job opportunity.

why extend the inevitable? what is a few weeks going to change exactly?
cazzz it is now forbidden under employment legislation to give a negative employment reference, the only thing any employer can do if they were not happy with an ex employee is decline to supply one
blimey! that is awful
well no i donl;t think it is a bad thing, there can be personal issues that are nothing to do with an employee's ability to do a job, and of course any issue that may or may not have been proven or the subject of a disciplonary is private and confidential as is any other issue between an employee and employer. recourse to an employment tribunal is a free service but no employer would risk being reported
